It’s time for week six of my feature post and Reason #6 out of 10 why you’ll fall in love with Australia.
And after trawling through all my photos from my travels it’s come to my attention that there are so many shots that I haven’t shared and of course, behind every photograph there’s a story so, I’ve decided to share one a week and create a little collection that’ll show you exactly; 10 reasons you’ll fall in love with Australia. Enjoy!
The colourful hills on Phillip Island
Australia isn’t just bright in shades of blues, greens and turquoise, there is also plenty of lush green and orange too! Phillip Island is just off the Southern coast, near Melbourne and is home to the ‘Little Penguin’. Each night you can witness the ‘Penguin Parade’, an event that occurs daily after the penguins have finished their day of feeding and they make their way from the ocean, across the beach and up the hills and boardwalks on Phillip Island back to their homes for the night. It’s a wonderful event of nature to witness and the perfect way to end a day of exploring the beautiful island, take your blankets and a hot drink and snuggle up on the beach to watch 100’s of penguins waddle their way up the island!
