Açai Bowl.

I woke up to a smokin’ hot, sunny Sunday this morning craving a refreshing brekkie. I’ve been a fan of smoothie bowls lately, they’re quick and easy to make and you can pack a bowl full of micronutrients in seconds.Açai (pronounced Ah-Si-Ee) is a Brazilian berry and is extremely high in antioxidants – which is just what my skin needs right now. They’re high in good fats and low in sugar and because they’re so high in antioxidants they have the potential to lower cholesterol if you consume it with a healthy diet.

To make the smoothie bowl blend up together;

  • Half a frozen banana
  • A handful of frozen blueberries
  • Oat milk
  • Açai powder (I use Sevenhills which you can buy from Amazon)
  • A tablespoon of Greek yoghurt

I then decorated mine with;

  • Desiccated coconut
  • Granola
  • Frozen raspberries

But you can add whatever toppings you fancy!
